Project Description
Recommended improvements include concrete "scalping" control box, 1500 LF of 14" pipeline design,  2000 LF of 24" HDPE , replacement of two vertical turbine pumps, and pump house modifications to accommodate the new pumps.  The project will also provide concrete lining for the existing washwater basins.

9/11/2020 - Bid Results

Bids have been received for the JVWTP Reclaim Water and Solids Handling Improvements Project.  The apparent low bidder is Nelson Brothers Construction Company.  Additional information is available as allowed by law.

9/8/2020 - Announcement

Due to widespread power outages in the Salt Lake Valley and business closures on Tuesday September 8, 2020, the Bid date for this project has been extended to Noon on Friday September 11, 2020.  

8/31/2020 - New Addendum

Addendum # 3 has been issued for the JVWTP Reclaim Project addressing comments from the pre-bid meeting.  The bid date has been extended one week to 3:00 pm September 10.  As a reminder, the public bid opening will be held at the District offices at 8215 S. 1300 West (not at the site of the work).

8/28/2020 - Announcement

The District is evaluating comments from the Reclaim Project non-mandatory pre-Bid meeting held on Wednesday August 26,2020.  Addendum #3 will be issued on Monday to address these comments.

Included with this addendum will be a bid date extension from 3:00 pm on September 3, 2020 to 3:00 pm on September 10, 2020.

8/27/2020 - Announcement

The pre-bid sign-in sheet from the pre-bid meeting yesterday has been posted to the District website.  We plan to issue Addendum #3 ASAP to clarify questions brought up during the meeting.

8/25/2020 - New Addendum

Addendum # 2 to the Reclaim Water and Solids Handling Improvements Project has been posted.  It adds a substantial amount of asphalt paving to the project.

As a reminder, a non-mandatory on-site pre-bid meeting will be held at the site of the work tomorrow 8/26/2020 at 3:00 pm for interested contractors.  The meeting will be held outdoors observing physical distancing protocols as much as possible.

8/3/2020 - Bid Documents Addendum

Addendum # 1 to the Jordan Valley Water Treatment Plant Reclaim Water And Solids Handling Improvements has been issued to postpone the pre-bid site visit to August 26, 2020; and,
postpone the date of receipt of bids to September 3, 2020.

Addendum # 1 is available for download from the District project website.
