Temporary Water Access for Construction
Companies may request temporary access to water from fire hydrants for construction purposes. Permits for this type of water access are subject to hydrant availability and will be issued at the discretion of Jordan Valley Water. To initiate a request, please complete the form below.
Permit Requirements:
- Submit a request using the form below.
- If your request can be fulfilled, you will be notified and asked to sign a permit agreement.
- Before water can be accessed, companies must pay a $202 connection fee and a $1,500 refundable deposit. Companies that provide their own approved meter will have a reduced deposit of $300.
- Once applicable fees have been paid, companies may receive a meter from Jordan Valley Water (if needed).
- During the project period, meters must be brought in monthly to be read. Water use will be charged at the applicable retail rate.
