Project Description
Multi Phase Project: Current construction phase is the addition of access points along the SECL and construction of a new manway vault. These improvements will facilitate the condition assessment by others.

1st Phase: Request of SOQ for the Condition Assessment of the Jordan Aqueduct Reach 1 & Southeast Collection Line. The JA-1 is a 78" steel and RCP pipeline which conveys raw water to the Jordan Valley Water Conservancy District. The JA-1 was installed in 1972 and is a critical piece of infrastructure in the JVWCD water conveyance system. JVWCD is seeking proposals from Engineering Firms to perform a cleaning of the JA-1 via pigging, condition assessment including but not limited to overall pipe condition, wall thickness, mortar condition, etc. The Southeast Collection Line is a 33-27" steel pipeline which conveys raw water to the District's Southeast Regional Water Treatment Plant. A condition assessment of this line needs to be performed as well to determine overall pipeline condition and wall thickness.
